About
We travel slowly,
and write it down.
Abuv Travel is a journal for the endlessly curious — the people who read the plaque, take the long way round, and always ask the waiter what they would order.

Our story
Started with one long trip.
What began as a shared notebook on a much-too-long, not-nearly-long-enough trip has grown into this: a place to keep the stories that would otherwise fade. The ones that don't fit in a caption.
We're not interested in the ten-cities-in-seven-days kind of travel. We'd rather stay a little longer, get a little more lost, and come home with something more than a full camera roll.
Everything here is written from the road — honestly, and with the small practical details we wish someone had told us before we went.
Honest, always
If a place is overrated or a hike is brutal, we'll say so. No sponsored gloss.
Slow by default
Fewer places, more deeply. The best moments rarely happen on a schedule.
Respectful travel
We try to leave places better than we found them, and to learn whose land we're on.
Say hello.
Got a question, a tip, or a place we simply have to see? We'd love to hear it.
